Peucang Island (Part 2)

Okay, the last day. Gloomy morning after raining overnight. Anyway, I quickly wandering around after waking up. And caught a view of deers family from Sean's and Deka's room. Well, actually it's deer anywhere in Handeleum. Hahaha

The schedule for the last day was canoeing in Cigenter and then going to Cidaon field. I really hope it wont be rained so someone wont get too upset. And my wishes granted. It's canoeing time~

The canoe man said that usually the water was blue, but because of yesterday's raining so the water become brown and have no different than any other river. #sosad
He also said that usually there're some rhinos that crossing down the rivers, but we didnt see any at that time.

It's still gloomy actually but at least there's no rain.

Because of the storm, there's a fallen tree that blocked our route, so we cant canoeing until the end of the route and going back to the Cidaon field.

Moving from Cidaon, we're taking another photo sessions at the nearest island. *forgot the name. lol

After that, we're going back to Handeleum, repacking and ready to go back to Dermaga Sumur. And another light rain already waiting.lol

Arrived at Dermaga Sumur before heading back to Jakarta. And Deka just got his new name. Hi Choco Banana. Hahaha

We arrived at Jakarta around 12.30am on Monday dawn. Late from our schedule. But we arrived safety anyway. Well, then, my very first trip was over. With a lil bit of drama in the inside. Whatever..

Peucang Island (Part 1)

I've never been in trip before. Well, I did travel but just for business or company outing but never going with friends. Since mostly the reason because of the cost. So I prefer the free trips. lol. After moving to the new company, my friend Fitri asked me and Ditra whether we want to join to an open trip. She said that Sean asked her to join. So, I said yes and asked whether I could invite 1 additional person. Bry the caveman a.k.a mr Workaholic. And she said I can. Hahaha

Soo, when we met up, I asked him whether he would like to join the trip (since I know he really like beaches), and then a miracle happened, he said yes! (but then as usual, he asked who will join the trip, and I said only me, Ditra, Fitri, and one of fitri male's friend, Sean. Ah well, basically he's my colleagues but rarely met and the last time we met was year ago).

This time, we joined the open trip with Saving Fun Vacation. It cost around IDR 550k with meeting point at Plaza Semanggi on Friday night. From there, we'll taking to Dermaga Sumur by Elf.Me and Ditra met in Fitri's office. Because we want to take a bath first (since we go directly after office anyway). Since Bry take half day leave, he already in Plaza Semanggi when we're still on our way and keep buzzing in me because he's all alone. So I asked him to wait at Starbucks.

When we finally met, I quickly introduced him to Fitri and Ditra. Before Sean started to call me and asked where were we *and then asked me for a cup of Starbucks=___=". Since I haven't met Sean for like, a year or so, I never knew whether it would be awkward or just regular conversation. But then, I forgot how he could become so annoying! He teased me and my direct reaction was to kick him. And then the drama happened, where Bry suddenly being so damn cold afterwards.x__x

Anyway, our elf was only occupied by 1 Tour Lead, Sean and his friend, Deka, me and Bry, and the last row were Fitri and Ditra. The land journey will takes around 10 hours, and apparently I couldn't sleep. Since the road was really bumpy, dark, and near the cliff, how can I not aware. After Ditra gave me Antimo then I could sleep for couple of hours.

Actually based on schedule, we can get sunrise, but unfortunately we're late from scheduled. We departed from Semanggi around 9pm and arrived at Dermaga Sumur around 7am. But looking at the weather, we thought that it will be a full sunny and bright day since it's quite hot in Dermaga Sumur.

After simple breakfast and briefing, off we go to our homestay island, Handeleum.

And then, suddenly the weather changed. What I learned from this trip was, you totally cant predict the weather on the sea and islands. It seems really clear and sunny previously, but just in less than an hour, it's started to gloom and suddenly it's storm. Dang!

And it's still raining even until we arrived at Handeleum Island.

After waiting for an hour and so, it's getting better and we can explore the island before heading to Peucang.

Unfortunately it's still gloomy. But Peucang island beach was really pretty with the white sand and clear water, graded from light blue to dark blue.

And lot of monkeys, even boars *thanks God there's no boar in Handeleum.

Around 5pm, we're going back to Handeleum. It's really cold and windy. #sigh
